If you are a child or young person, or if you are worried about a child or young person, help is available at any time of the day or night. You do not have to be in immediate danger to reach out — it’s okay to ask for help if things feel overwhelming.

Mindworks Surrey Crisis Line

If you are worried about the mental health or emotional wellbeing of a child or young person aged 6 and over, you can contact the 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Line:

  • For children, young people, parents, carers and professionals
  • You do not need a referral
  • Young people do not need to already be receiving support

You will speak to a trained mental health professional who can:

  • Listen and offer immediate emotional support
  • Help manage a crisis safely
  • Signpost to local services and next steps
  • You can also call NHS 111 and choose the mental health option.

Crisis Text Support (Surrey)

For children and young people who are deaf or hard of hearing, a text-based crisis service is available:
