Supporting you, so you
can support them

We know it can be challenging to know how best to support the mental health and well-being of a young person, especially when they are experiencing difficulties with emotions and behaviours.

How we can help

Your young person’s 1:1 or group sessions.

Our 1:1 and group work is flexible and responsive to each individual child and young person.  You will be able to speak with the practitioner supporting  your child and sessions will often include time together to share new skills that can be practiced or to answer questions.

Webinars and groups for parents

We offer a range of webinars designed to increase understanding of neurodevelopmental differences and provide practical strategies for supporting children and young people.

We run groups, normally over 6 weeks, to explore specific topics and to build skills and confidence when supporting your child or young person.

Signposting and advice

We can help you find resources and guide you to other services that help you towards your goals.

Resources

We have put together these downloadable resources covering a range of topics that we are asked about regularly.  They include explanations, tips and tools and we have a reading list of other resources we have found particularly useful over time.  We hope you find them helpful.

We are in the middle of rewriting these resources and will be releasing them over the next few weeks, so please check back regularly.  Topics covered include: emotional regulation, ADHD, self harm, gender diversity, Autism, ‘thoughts feelings and anxiety’, sleep strategies, emotion based school non-attendance (EBSNA).
